Mountain & Prairie Podcast - LIVE!

Recognized by both the Aspen Institute and "High Country News," the Mountain & Prairie Podcast features substantive, long-form interviews with innovators of the American West. Guests include ranchers, writers, athletes, artists, adventurers, conservationists, entrepreneurs—anyone who’s doing inspired work that contributes to the region’s evolving and complex cultural fabric. Through informal yet in-depth conversations, conservationist Ed Roberson introduces you to these fascinating characters, giving you a better understanding of their careers, influences, and outlooks, as well as a deeper appreciation for life in the American West. This special live podcast recording in Bozeman, Montana brings together four of the West’s most dynamic women—hat-maker and farmer Cate Havstad; silversmith, writer, and photographer Jillian Lukiwski; National Geographic adventure photographer Becca Skinner; and rancher and conservationist Juanita Vero. Expect a wide-ranging conversation around creativity, the pursuit of one’s passions, craftsmanship, conservation, adventure, and a shared devotion to Western landscapes. Learn about the books that have shaped their perspectives, the mentors who have guided their careers, and the wisdom they have gleaned from pursuing authentic, spirited lives. Following the conversation, there will be generous time devoted to interactive Q&A with the audience. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Montana Land Reliance, one of the West’s leading land conservation organizations. Since 1978, MLR has partnered with private landowners to permanently protect more than 1,000,000 acres of agricultural lands, fish and wildlife habitat, and open space. https://mountainandprairie.com/bozeman/
