We begin our new season with the Spanish flavors and exotic sounds of composer Manuel de Falla. You’ll be captivated by his country’s enticing music, which he then blended with the sounds of French impressionism. It was his music that started the furor over Spanish sounds. His piano concerto, Nights in the Gardens of Spain, presents this Spanish movement in all its glory. Canadian pianist, Marika Bournaki, child prodigy, graduate of The Juilliard School and feature of the award-winning documentary “I am Not a Rock Star” joins the orchestra in her return to Bozeman.
