CHILI CONTESTANT DETAILS
$20 Entry Fee
All chili styles will be accepted and judged on consistency, taste, color, smell and meat tenderness.

Contest categories and prizes include:
Judge’s Choice, Best Chili
1st Place - $200
2nd Place - $100
3rd Place - $50
People’s Choice - $100
Most Sampled - $50
Best Booth - $50

SCHEDULE:
10-11:30am - Contestant Setup
12pm - Event Opens
3pm - Contest ends
3:30-4pm - Awards Presentation

CONTESTANTS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
$20 Entry fee - No refunds
Simple Application - Sign up by purchasing a Chili Cook-Off Participant ticket on Eventbrite, then fill out form during ticket check out process
Own serving utensils and pots
5-10 gallons of pre-made chilI - Chili must reach 165 degrees before serving
(If needed) 10x10 Canopy tent or similar weather protection recommended
Booth theme and decorations are highly recommended
Own power, gas heat or a grill heat source (electricity is not provided)
Fire extinguisher

PROVIDED:
10 x10 booth space (not canopy tents or weather protection)
Sample cups, napkins and tasting spoons
Thermometer to ensure minimum temperature is reached by each contestant chili entry
