Invasive Plants: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
As part of the Montana Institute on Ecosystems' Distinguished Lecturer Series, Dr. Lisa Rew will present the talk "Invasive Plants: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" on Wednesday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the MSU Procrastinator Theater.
Dr. Lisa Rew is a Professor of Invasive Plant Ecology and Management in the Department of Land Resources and Environmental Sciences at MSU. Her main research goal is to improve our understanding of plant invasions and develop effective integrated ways to prioritize management, at local to global scales. She and her students work in a range of ecosystems, from crops and rangelands through to mountain tops, and have published the results in journals, book chapters, and extension publications.
This event is free and open to the public to attend. Light refreshments will be served beforehand.
