Food Safety Training - SQF Practitioner Course CANCELED
Is it time to add an SQF Practitioner to your Staff? Or maybe more than one? If you’re a growing food and beverage company, you might be planning to move your products into larger stores or new markets with more stringent food safety requirements. Or perhaps you’ve noticed that your customers are more food savvy and have high expectations for how your food products are made. Having Safe Quality Food (SQF) Practitioners at your facility on a full-time basis can help you achieve and maintain SQF Certification, as well as implement your food safety and food quality plans. The SQF Practitioner course is a two-day workshop designed to fulfill the training requirements and prepare individuals to take the SQF Practitioner test. This interactive workshop is based on official SQF training materials with the addition of real-life practical advice. SQF Practitioners develop, implement and maintain a Safe Quality Food system. Course participants learn the roles and responsibilities of SQF practitioners and how to ensure suppliers are in compliance with an internationally recognized and accredited Food Safety Management System, as well as FSMA rules. They will also learn about the different modules, food sectors and the certification process including certification audits, scoring systems and the structure of the SQF code. By the end of this training course, participants will be able to: + Implement the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing Edition 8.1. + Identify gaps in current processes and systems to protect their product. + Understand how HACCP principles are used to develop food safety and food quality plans. + Prepare for SQF certification and auditing. + Identify training and qualification needs for employees. Participants receive a certificate of successful completion for the course (after passing a written knowledge test). Participants can also take the online certification exam at the SQFI Institute. The course is designed for: Management, quality assurance and operational personnel from sites seeking SQF certification, maintaining certification or interested in learning more about the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.
