THE PROBLEM
In the United States, there are currently 177 active shelter programs specifically serving survivors of sex trafficking. Out of those shelters, 63 serve minors, 40 serve men and boys, and 24 serve women with children. The greatest demographic in need of shelter
programs are women with children.*
There is a huge gap in long term residential care throughout our nation, and that is a gap HER Campaign is passionate about helping to fill.

OUR SOLUTION
The HER Refuge Family Alliance is a program under the HER Campaign, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that seeks to provide long term residential care for survivors of sex trafficking by integrating into host families. The Family Alliance’s desire is to ignite the faith community to become a safe place for each survivor by one-on-one mentorship and immersion into their homes and families.
Our vision is to partner with shelter programs nationwide to provide more beds for survivors in the greatest demographic of need, completing an ecosystem of care by training and mentoring families to take in survivors during the healing journey.
