Managing Mental Health in the New Normal: Working and Living
MSU Continuing, Professional and Lifelong Learning is partnering with local mental health professionals to offer a virtual panel discussion addressing pandemic-related stress and uncertainty. This panel of mental health professionals will address some of the common difficulties that are affecting many of us during the pandemic and will present tips and techniques for managing stress and mental health challenges. The panel will also provide advice for managing anxiety as we emerge from the pandemic and adjust to the “new normal.” This panel discussion is free and open to the public. “Managing Mental Health in the New Normal: Working and Living” will be presented on April 23 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. This panel will address the challenges of working and living during the pandemic, such as burn out from Zoom meetings, exhaustion from interacting with customers from behind masks, and being out of work or retired. Panelists include Alison Brennan, MSU Extension Mental Health Specialist; Heidi Lester, MSU Extension Kinship Navigator Program; Perrin Lundgren, Bozeman Help Center Community Educator; Laura Thum, MSU Counseling and Psychological Services; Tara Mastel, MSU Extension Leadership Development; and Katelyn Anderson, MSU Extension Agent.
