Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction | 8-Week Course

Is it time to cultivate your intention to live more fully and freely? 🌿🦋 Join us for this 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course led by Margaret Kachadurian! The course begins October 26 and continues every Tuesday for 8 weeks from 6-8:30 PM. COVID-19 protocol will be followed, but a live-stream version will be offered for those who would like to tune in from home. Cost: $400 – 26 hours of instruction. The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is an 8-week training scientifically designed to teach participants how to integrate and apply mindfulness in their everyday lives and to the range of challenges arising from medical and psychological conditions and life stresses. Decades of research show that MBSR reduces chronic pain and boosts the immune system; addresses painful mental states like depression and anxiety; minimizes emotional reactivity and promotes well-being, increases flexible attention and sharpens mental focus - actually thickening grey matter in areas of empathy and problem-solving. Happiness can be a delightful by-product. In this intensive training you will learn to access and cultivate your natural capacity for awareness of our innate inner-wisdom and compassion. Throughout the program you will be working with your own stress, pain and illness – and the challenges and demands of your everyday life. Learning will focus on your own experience of how practicing meditation and mindfulness-based self-regulatory skills creates emotional and mental resilience by developing and refining your own internal resources which is the primary aim of the program.
