Gallatin Valley 2022: Grape or Raisin? - The Coming Water Shortage

Gallatin Valley Earth Day presents "The Gallatin Valley 2022: Grape or Raisin? - The coming water shortage and how to respond to it" by Randy Hafer of High Plains Architects. Learn how one of Montana's leading sustainability experts is conserving water. His residence, the Urban Frontier House, is one of only 3 certified residential Living Buildings in the world. His forward-thinking water system has cut daily water usage per person from an average of 86 gallons in the winter (130 in the summer) to 10 gallons year-round (Yellowstone County statistics). This wildly successful experiment is cost-effective and replicable....and much more simple than you might imagine. About High Plains Architects Based in Billings, High Plains Architects is dedicated to sustainable architecture in the region. The firm just completed the SxS building at 387 Gallatin Park Drive, Bozeman, MT - the first privately owned LEED Platinum building in Bozeman.
