Music in the Mountains: Satsang

Join us as we kick off another amazing summer of free Music in the Mountains in Big Sky as we welcome of Satsang to Len Hill Park in the Big Sky Town Center! This event is also the annual Soul Shine celebration in partnership with the Hungry Moose Market and the Robin family. Opening the show will be Bozeman’s Cole and the Thornes!

Satsang is the brainchild of Montana’s Drew McManus and his soulful, reggae-infused blend of folk-rock and melodic hip hop carries a message of strength, growth and resilience. Satsang, in its few short years, has headlined or shared the stage with the likes of Michael Franti and Spearhead, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Trevor Hall, Wookiefoot and many more. The Montana-based quartet is currently enjoying the success of its 2019 release, Kulture, a collection of songs representing the culmination of all the band’s influences. The band’s 2017 album, Pyramid(s), quickly hit #1 on the Billboard reggae charts and #2 on the iTunes charts. Their most recent album is All. Right. Now.

The Park opens at 6, music starts at 6:30, Satsang will play at 8 p.m. Admission is free! Please, remember that NO DOGS or GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the park. Also, this year we are partnering with Bozeman Health and the Big Sky Community Organization to make our events TOBACCO and SMOKE FREE! Thank you in advance for helping to make this public gathering space welcome and safe for all.
