For the past several years, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has participated in the international project Cymbeline in the Anthropocene. Together with other collaborating theatres, we explored how William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline is at the center of an ecological study examining the playwright’s influence on how we view the natural world in contrast to our own urban culture—or as it is outlined in his plays, the court world.
