City celebrates new pickleball courts with Ribbon Cutting

The City of Bozeman invites the community to a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration for the City of Bozeman’s first dedicated public pickleball courts! Join the Parks and Recreation Department and local pickleball players for a ribbon cutting ceremony that will include remarks from Deputy Mayor Terry Cunningham and City Staff, followed by a learn to play clinic and plenty of time to play! Light refreshments will be served.

“This is a positive project that really is a big deal for our community. We are excited to officially introduce this new facility to our community,” says Parks & Recreation Director Mitch Overton.

The Bogert Pickleball Courts are officially open to the public and we are inviting the community to join us to celebrate!  This two year project includes seven dedicated municipal pickleball courts that are open to the public 7 days a week from 8am-9pm.  The courts help to better meet the need of this fast growing sport in our community and are available for people of all ages and abilities.
