Kal Marks / King Ropes / Jelly King / Hospital Property

KAL MARKS: "Kal Marks' 2018 album Universal Care defined the noise-rock trio at its prickly peak; singer-guitarist Carl Shane embodied a proletariat everyman on the brink of collapse, his guttural yowl the sound of a man plunging into a visceral, violent panic. Following the dissolution of the longstanding power trio, the band's tempestuous fifth album, My Name is Hell, follows Shane with a newly cast quartet unfurling their dense, cantankerous sound with impudent bravado." KING ROPES: King Ropes are a psychedelic americana band. Or maybe it's indie desert rock? Whatever you call it, the band's latest album, Super Natural, leans into their distinctive ability to combine mystical and banal imagery. The single "Greedy", with its deadpan stream on concsiousness, captures the vibe of an album that is a ramshackle ode to both the grace and difficulty of living in our strange world. As the lyrics to the song say; "Kinda trippy. Kinda dreamy."

Jelly King: A loud outlaw punk trio up to no good.

Hospital Property: A new solo project for Brandon Schulte, Casper, Wyoming's legendary purveyor of all things loud and furious.

Cost: $8 at the door

Age: 21+
