MSU Range Management Club Christmas Tree Fundraiser

The Montana State University Range Management Club, a student organization in the College of Agriculture, will host its annual Christmas tree fundraiser Dec. 5-10. Local Douglas fir trees 3 to 14 feet tall will be selected and cut for the fundraiser.

The public is encouraged to visit the MSU Miller Pavilion at 2730 W. Garfield St. in Bozeman, from Dec. 5 to 9 between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. or on Saturday, Dec. 10, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to pick out a tree. Tree selection is on a first-come, first-served basis and cost $7 per foot — so, for example, a 5-foot-tall tree would cost $35.

The club will also deliver trees upon request. Trees can be paid for at pick-up or delivery by cash, check or card with a small processing fee.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to send club members to the annual Society for Range Management convention in Boise, Idaho. At the convention, students will compete in academic contests, participate in research presentations, attend scientific and technical presentations, and network with professionals in the field.
