Planning for the Future of Montana
How do we accommodate a growing population while conserving Montanans’ way of life? Join Young Voices, the Property and Environment Research Center, and the Frontier Institute on May 17th for a roundtable about the best ways to plan for Montana's future. People are irresistibly drawn to Montana's wide open spaces, but housing supply is not keeping up with the number of people who want to move to Montana. Yet no one in Montana wants urban sprawl that destroys the same open spaces they moved here to enjoy. How can smart housing policy provide enough homes for people to live in Montana? Can markets help conserve Montana's wilderness for all to enjoy? Join Young Voices, PERC, and the Frontier Institute for a fascinating roundtable and networking on May 17, 2023. Americans for Prosperity’s David Herbst will moderate a roundtable discussion with some of Montana's leading thinkers in environmental and housing policy. Speakers: Kendall Cotton, Frontier Institute: Kendall Cotton developed his passion for serving his community while growing up in Florence, Montana along the banks of the Bitterroot River. He graduated from Florence High School and later earned a degree in Political Science from Montana State University.
