Contemplative Service exploring the movement from ordinary hope into Mystical Hope. Join us for story, fellowship, meditation, chant & other practices in the Perennial Wisdom Tradition. While bearing the stamp of the religion and culture in which any given articulation of Perennial Wisdom arises. Perennial Wisdom can be summarized in four points: 1) All life is a manifestation of a dynamic non-dual Aliveness called by many names: Chiut, Tao, Allah, Mother, Brahman, God, YHVH, Nature, Dharmakaya, Great Spirit, among others. 2) Each of us has the innate capacity to awaken in, with, and as this Aliveness 3) Awakening as Aliveness calls you to be a blessing to all the families of the earth, human and otherwise. 4) Awakening as Aliveness and being a blessing are our highest calling as human beings. This event is free and for adults. BYO blanket or lawn chair. This event is free and for adults. Community event offered on the church grounds. You do not have to be associated with Pilgrim Church to attend. Inside location available in case of bad weather. Second Tuesday of each month (June through September).
