Observe the Moon: A Member-only Series of Events
Join us for a Spectacular Solar Eclipse Viewing Event at the Living History Farm! Bundle up and get ready for an unforgettable experience as we gather to witness the Annular 'ring of fire' eclipse this fall! Bozeman is fortunate to observe around 80% of the Sun covered by the Moon. The eclipse will grace the skies from approximately 9:15 a.m. to just before noon, with the maximum eclipse at 10:30 am. During this awe-inspiring event, we'll step outside and safely look through solar filters to witness the captivating eclipse while learning about the importance of safe observation methods. Your safety is our priority as we indulge in this celestial wonder. But that's not all! As a token of appreciation for attending the member-only planetarium demonstration, each member will receive a complimentary pair of solar glasses. These glasses ensure safe viewing of future eclipses, allowing you to cherish these rare occurrences safely. Mark your calendars for this incredible celestial gathering, where we'll come together to marvel at the wonders of the universe. Don't miss this chance to witness the Annular 'ring of fire' eclipse with fellow astronomy enthusiasts.
