Baroque Music Montana presents SONATA TRAMONTANA-À LA FRANÇAISE Nov 4 at 7:30pm at Old Main Gallery in Bozeman. Carrie Krause, baroque violin, and John Lenti, theorbo, perform the next chapter of their duo “a la Francaise!” in celebration of their recent Sonata Tramontana album release. Repertoire to include the suave Concerts Royaux No. 2 from the inner chambers of Louis XIV by Couperin, a sonata by Louis XIV's lovely court harpsichord virtuoso Jacquet de la Guerre, a French inspired dance by the style-synthesizing J.S. Bach, some fiddly country tunes by Michel Corrette, and Rebel's Suite Premiere, a lively 'tour de dance.' Other concert locations include Twin Bridges, Billings, Lewistown, Butte, Helena, Missoula, and a foray into Washington with visits to Spokane, Walla Walla, and Seattle.
