Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas

The musical partnership between consummate performer Alasdair Fraser, "the Michael Jordan of Scottish fiddling", and brilliant Californian cellist Natalie Haas spans the full spectrum between intimate chamber music and ecstatic dance energy. Over the last 20 years of creating a buzz at festivals and concert halls across the world, they have truly set the standard for fiddle and cello in traditional music. They continue to thrill audiences internationally with their virtuosic playing, their near-telepathic understanding and the joyful spontaneity and sheer physical presence of their music. Alasdair's last performance for the Bozeman Folklore Society at the Story Mansion was a marvelous evening, and this promises to be even more spectacular! The concert will be held in the beautiful environs of the Sanctuary at Pilgrim Church. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the show starts at 7:30. Children 12 and under are admitted at no charge. Tickets and more info are available at bozemanfolklore.org. Alasdair and Natalie will also lead a workshop for musicians on Monday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 PM at the Gallatin Labor Temple, 422 E. Mendenhall in Bozeman. Tickets for the workshop are available separately, but you can purchase a combo ticket for the concert and the workshop.
