An Evening with Colonel Eric Hastings
Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation will host its first classical music fundraiser, featuring the talent of military veteran, pianist, and retired Marine Corps Colonel Eric Hastings.
“An Evening with Colonel Eric Hastings”, which will take place at Reynolds Recital Hall at the School of Music in Montana State University, plans to host up to 240 people on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The event will raise essential funds for Warriors & Quiet Waters, an organization committed to guiding veterans and their loved ones to thrive and find peace, meaning, and purpose through fly fishing and other inspirational activities in nature.
Colonel Eric Hastings, co-founder of Warriors & Quiet Waters and Bozeman native, will take attendees on a journey through the works of classical masters he has studied on his “Hunt for Purpose” searching the musical wilderness to find he was “Built for More” after his military career. Music will include pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Chopin and Liszt.
“Since I spent four years in New York City earning a Master of Fine Arts degree at Mannes School of Music in classical piano performance after retiring from the Marine Corps, I am giving a concert to raise money for Warriors & Quiet Waters,” said Colonel Hastings.
The event will require the purchase of a “Give What You Can” ticket, which is designed to ensure that everyone who wants to support the Warriors & Quiet Waters mission can attend and be empowered to make a difference. Both in-person and virtual tickets are available.
Tickets for “An Evening with Colonel Eric Hastings” are on sale now and more information can be found on Warriors & Quiet Waters’ website, wqwf.org. All proceeds will support post-9/11 combat veterans.
