Montana State Symphony Orchestra
The Montana State University Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, in the Reynolds Recital Hall in MSU’s Howard Hall.
Tobin Stewart, associate professor in the School of Music in the College of Arts and Architecture, will lead the orchestra of about 65 students.
They plan to play a variety of music, including Emmanuel Chabrier’s “Joyeuse March,” Margaret Bonds’ “Montgomery Variations,” Alexander Glazunov’s “Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra” and MSU student Austin Whisler’s “Aurora Borealis.” “Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra” will feature a solo by student Tanner Crow.
“We are excited to feature these two outstanding students during the concert,” Stewart said.
Cost: $5 for students $10 for others
