MOR's Presenting Prehistory: Soft-tissue Fossilization with Dr. Mary Schweitzer
Presenting Prehistory: Soft-tissue Fossilization Molecular Data from Deep Time Fossils
It is known that organic molecules come with a time limit, but what if that isn’t entirely true? Come explore the evidence for the preservation of informative molecules from ancient fossils as Dr. Mary Schweitzer discusses the incredible potential of dinosaur molecules for shedding light on molecular approaches to our own problems in the future.
MOR's Presenting Prehistory: A Paleontology Lecture Series explores recent paleontological findings and current hypotheses as conveyed by scientists who are actively exploring how life on Earth has changed. Discoveries made by paleontologists continue to shed new light on the deep past of the planet and the creatures that arose here.
Free and open to the public in the Hager Auditorium.
