Dance? – yes please! Music-making? – yes please! Song? – yes please! Ceremony? – oh, yes please! The women of Yamama! invite you to join them for this lively and restorative “play date for the soul.” At this time of year, we feel the joyful pull as life and light return to our hemisphere of the planet – the natural world around us is again greening, songbirds have returned to garden and glade, while buds and blossoms and possibilities burst forth all around us. We, too, are of the natural world, and we too feel the sap rising in our own hearts. Whether we resonate with the literal energies of fertility, or the generative force of our own organic creativity, these elements are fed and nurtured when we circle with other women. Please, won’t you gather with us, and join your personal power with others, as we invite our bodies, minds and spirits to “surf the wave” of the rebirthing time of spring? This one-day retreat will include several dance sessions (Mideastern veil dance and SoulFree ecstatic dance); guided shamanic journey; chant, song, and collaborative music-making; and time in ceremony and reflection. Women of all experience levels are welcome to join us this circle of play, support, freedom, and power as we engage with the rising tide of spring, which offers support and blessings on our creativity, however we want to express it.
