Power Pouch Sip & Sew
Across many cultures, it has been a tradition to wear medicine pouches for protection, comfort, or to empower the wearer. The history of medicine pouches dates back more than 10,000 years. We invite you to join us for an informal evening event where you will learn about the history of medicine pouches, create your own pouch, decorate it with beads, fill it with gems, and add traditional indigenous dried plants and symbols that are personally meaningful to you. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, and Plonk will offer a cash bar. Registration is required at: https://sales.museumoftherockies.org/Performance.aspx?pid=22385
