City of Bozeman First Responder Forum

Bozeman Public Library will host a City of Bozeman First Responder Forum to answer questions about the City’s proposed First Responder mill levy and Fire Station 4 bond. The Forum will be held on Monday, Oct. 7 and the event begins promptly at 6:45 p.m. in the Community Meeting room at Bozeman Public Library.

The panel will include Interim City Manager Chuck Winn, Mayor Terry Cunningham, Police Chief Jim Veltkamp, and Battalion Chief James Short. The Forum is free and no pre-registration is required.

“This event is an informational and educational session to help voters learn more about the first responder levy and fire station bond prior to the November election,” said Mayor Cunningham. “I encourage everyone to bring their questions and thoughts for us and look forward to providing as much information as we can so residents can make an informed decision.”

Questions from the public will be taken either via email in advance or live from the audience. To submit questions for the panel in advance via email, please email tclark@bozeman.net no later than noon, Monday, Oct. 7.

The meeting will be recorded by KGVM and livestreamed on the City of Bozeman’s Facebook, with the recording available on the City of Bozeman YouTube page after completion.
