Open Forum

Four finalists for the position of dean of the College of Letters and Science at Montana State University will interview on campus Nov. 5-8. As part of their campus interviews, each finalist will hold an open forum in which the public is invited to attend.
Open forums will be held from 4:15 to 5 p.m. and will be followed by a reception that is also open to the public. The finalists and the dates of their open forums are:
Tamela Eitle: Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and sociology professor at Indiana University Indianapolis. Open forum Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Julia Baldwin: Interim dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences at the University of Montana. Open forum Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Stephanie Santorico: Interim dean of the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver. Open forum Thursday, Nov. 7.
William Thomas: Associate dean for research and graduate education in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Open forum Friday, Nov. 8.
MSU Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Bob Mokwa and Brett Gunnink, chair of the search committee and dean of the Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering, invite faculty, staff, students and community members to participate and provide input in this phase of the search process for the next leader of the College of Letters and Science.

Individuals attending the open forums may submit feedback about the finalists through an online survey. The survey links for feedback about the finalists will be available at the following links beginning the day each finalist visits campus.
