Through effective preliminary work—sketches, studies, and planning—you’ll learn how to simplify your subject, design a strong composition, and develop a clear value and color plan. Discover how to: • Use photo references more creatively and effectively • Distill images down to their essential elements • Boost your confidence and creativity through preparation • Achieve stronger, more expressive final paintings This Level 2 class is perfect for those with some painting experience (Beginning Painting or similar). Open to watercolor, gouache, acrylic and water-soluble oil. Come ready to deepen your understanding and take your color skills further.
