Jody and the Woodflowers are a soulful band playing a range of Americana and bluegrass. From sweet haunting ballads and love songs to early American country vocal ballads, they are sure to have you boot stomping all night. Their influences show a love and respect for the folk and old country traditions of the last century, including modern Americana artists such as Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch.

The band is lead on the upright bass by Jody Engstrom, a local Montanan who was raised by two guitar makers. She’s played in many other bands including Bozeman staples Little Jane and the Pistol Whips, Jawbone Railroad, Acony Belles, and Honey & Rye. The band also features her husband Marcus Engstrom on guitar, as well as rotating members including their daughter Ariana or Silas Rae on fiddle, Cabot Metz on Banjo/Pedal Steel and Ryan Kelly on Mandolin.
