Join Dr. Melissa Ragain in conversation with Eileen Tenney, researcher and steward of the historic Samuel Lewis House, as they explore the remarkable story of Samuel W. Lewis, a 19th-century Black entertainer, settler, and entrepreneur who helped shape early Bozeman. Together, they'll share how architectural preservation, archival detective work, and storytelling are bringing his legacy back to light. Ragain will also offer a preview of the upcoming exhibition "Chisel & Razor: The Artistic Legacies of Edmonia & Samuel Lewis."
