The Tengu Club film screening to benefit Casting for Recovery
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Month and we're thrilled to be screening The Tengu Club, a film directed by professional fly angler, outfitter, and Montana local, Hilary Hutcheson. For over a century, the nation's oldest salmon fishing club, the Tengu Club, has gathered in the dead of winter to fish the waters of the PNW as a remembrance of the hardship Japanese Americans endured during and post WWII. The Tengu Club is a film about fishing, family, and an unexposed piece of American history. Ticket sales and event proceeds benefit the local Casting for Recovery program, a non-profit providing healing fly fishing experiences for women facing breast cancer. Cash bar and incredible raffle!
