The City of Belgrade invites residents and visitors to celebrate America 250 on Friday, July 3, with an evening of live entertainment, local businesses, family activities, and a spectacular community fireworks show honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The celebration begins with a Downtown Block Party from 5 to 8 p.m. on North Broadway between Main Street and Central Avenue. The event will feature approximately 30 local vendors, food trucks, and community organizations, along with live music by the Belgrade Orchestra Enrichment Council and The Disruptors. Families can enjoy kid-friendly activities while shopping, dining, and connecting with local businesses and community groups.

The evening concludes with Belgrade's community fireworks show beginning at 10:30 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from city property on the west side of town, north of Interstate 90, and will be visible throughout much of Belgrade. For public safety, there will be no public viewing at the launch site.

"America 250 is an opportunity to reflect on our nation's history while celebrating the people and community that make Belgrade such a special place to call home," said Belgrade Mayor Mike Meis. "Events like this bring neighbors together, support our local businesses, and create lasting memories for families while honoring this once-in-a- generation milestone."
