Fireworks Regulations Reminder for Belgrade City Limits

As Independence Day approaches, the City of Belgrade reminds residents to celebrate safely and follow local fireworks regulations.

Legal fireworks may be used within Belgrade city limits July 1-5 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and only on private property with the property owner’s permission.

Fireworks are not allowed at any time in Belgrade city parks or other city-owned property, or on school district property.

Please note that many homeowner associations have their own rules and restrictions regarding fireworks. Residents should check with their HOA before lighting fireworks.

And these regulations apply within Belgrade city limits and do not include the River Rock or Landmark subdivisions.

To help keep our community safe while celebrating the holiday, please:

  • Please clean up after your fireworks and dispose of them safely.

  • Keep water, a hose, or a fire extinguisher nearby.

  • Have a first-aid kit readily available.

  • Be considerate of neighbors, pets, and wildlife.

If fireworks cause a fire, serious injury, or another emergency, call 911 immediately. For reports of illegal fireworks activity or noise complaints, please contact the Belgrade Police Department's non-emergency line at 406-388-4262.

Thank you for helping keep our community safe and enjoyable this holiday week.
