The lodge is obtrusive and takes away from the wonderful beauty of Emigrant Peak what Christmas had an unfettered view until this monstrosity began being erected. Ego on how go abounds with these buildings. Sitter my in high overlooking the valley like kings. Thanks for ruining the views of our valley and building something no average Montanan could think of affording to visit....so sad...not one ounce of preservation or conservation in this plan.

Great column. Brings back memories. My family moved out there in the winter of 77, I think, so maybe you met my dad. He owned a pizza place downtown called Lundy's Landing. I learned to ski at Bridger, and remember all those runs. I even knew Johnny Mogul. He was my dad's buddy and worked at his pizza place -- great that you mentioned him. I last skied there I think in 1984. I gotta get back and make the pilgrimage to Bridger one of these days.
